Nasser Halabi

Regional Portfolio Manager

Nasser Halabi grew up in West Africa, the UK, and the Middle East, and in the USA. He is fluent in Arabic and grew up learning from his father who heads the family business, which was involved in buying land and building property. He completed his degree in Business at University of Southern California.


Before coming to the UK in 1995, Nasser had a successful sales and marketing career in Los Angeles, working for large corporations such as the LA Times newspaper and AT&T, the world's largest telecommunications company.


Nasser continued his sales and customer service career in London as Customer Service Manager for the Bath Store, managing a team of 11 staff and overseeing between 200-300 customer complaint calls a day. He then went on to become joint director of the company, managing two showrooms and a warehouse in South West London.


Nasser was responsible for all new accounts, liaising with suppliers and selling high end, high–value bathroom products. His role evolved into overseeing the manufacturing process of the products and he travelled to China to supervise the improvement of quality control, product testing and minimising defects, whilst also leading the top sales team in the region who regularly achieved sales in excess of £150k per month.


After eight years within sales, Nasser wanted to use his knowledge of how to approach and close a deal within the property domain. Excelling in relationship management, with insight of sales techniques and delivering the highest level of customer service to clients, Nasser entered the realm of lettings negotiation with an estate agency.


With his excellent approach to people, and his loyal, hardworking and driven attitude, Nasser quickly got promoted from lettings negotiator to lettings manager. Nasser then went on to become operations manager for a private landlord’s company with a portfolio of 200 properties. Always exceeding targets and improving processes, Nasser was looking for the next challenge in his property management career and joined Caridon in 2015.


Nasser joined as Portfolio Manager in the indirect portfolio team and quickly rose through the ranks to Senior Portfolio Manager and then to Regional Portfolio Manager. Nasser manages a team of four staff and his biggest impact on the team is sharing his expert knowledge of relationship management and levels of customer service. Nasser commands a very positive relationship with landlords and agents, retaining many properties and gaining new ones to add to the ever expanding portfolio. He continues to build the strong reputation of the Caridon brand across all London boroughs.

Hicham Abbad

Maintenance Manager

In 1989, Hicham graduated with a degree in Economics in his home country of Morocco and gained a HND in Hospitality and Management in 1990 in the UK. Alongside his studies, he worked for a hotel company, an industry in which he learnt the ropes starting in Front of House and progressing to Operations Manager.


Having built extensive experience and knowledge in the hotel industry, Hicham oversaw operations for four departments including; maintenance, reservations, housekeeping and concierge services. In 1999, Hicham was headhunted for the role of Assistant General Manager for Coulsdon Manor Hotel.

With operational control of the hotel, banqueting and wedding facilities, a golf course, and health centre, Hicham was involved in Human Resources management of staff and has gained many skills in management and coaching. Hicham prides himself on being a strong and supportive team leader.


In 2012, Hicham joined Caridon and was involved in the management and logistics of serviced apartments leased on short term accommodation, overseeing between 60-70 high standard residential properties across London.


Hicham then took on the task of shaping the maintenance and facilities department, as Caridons’ portfolio expanded across new regions.


Hicham now heads one of the key operational areas of the business, spanning across London, Sussex, Essex and Kent.

His team co-ordinate and manage maintenance issues for all properties owned by sister company Caridon Developments as well as independent landlords, overlooking in-house maintenance specialists and external contractors.


Hicham is also trained in Fire Safety and FRA compliance and conducts Fire Risk Assessments on our Caridons managed properties as well as advising on compliance issues.
