Caridon CEO Completes London to Brighton Ride, Raising £7,000 for South East Cancer Help Centre
24th June 2025
Founder & CEO of Caridon Group, Mario Carrozzo, has successfully completed the iconic London to Brighton Bike Ride on Sunday 15th June 2025, raising £7,000 in support of the South East Cancer Help Centre (SECHC).
The event, which coincided with Father’s Day, was a personal challenge for Mario, whose father sadly passed away from leukaemia. Donations were made through KindLink, the fundraising platform supported by SECHC, with generous contributions totalling over £3,500. This amount will be matched by Mario and the Caridon Group, doubling the impact and bringing the total raised to £7,000.
Based in Purley, SECHC provides emotional and practical support to those affected by cancer. The centre offers a range of free and low-cost therapies, counselling services, and support groups for both patients and their loved ones, helping them navigate the challenges of diagnosis, treatment, and recovery in a warm and welcoming environment.
Reflecting on the experience, Mario Carrozzo said:
“London to Brighton bike ride was a way to honour my dad’s memory and support an organisation doing incredible work for families going through one of the toughest experiences of their lives. Taking on this challenge also gave me time to reflect, and reminded me how important it is, especially for men, to talk about grief and mental health. I’m hugely grateful to everyone who donated. Together, we’ve made a meaningful difference.”
Caridon Group, a Croydon-based property and housing solutions provider, continues to support a range of social and charitable causes as part of its wider commitment to community wellbeing.
