Forging a Socially Conscious Future in Property: Caridon Reflects on a Transformative MIPIM 2025
14th March 2025
We were delighted to join global property leaders at MIPIM 2025 for days of powerful insights, strategic connections, and discussions focused on shaping a more inclusive future for our communities. Our team, including our CEO Mario Carrozzo and newly joined Group Business Director Paul Bridge, engaged with partners and policymakers to champion a housing model driven by social purpose.
The event kicked off with a powerhouse day of discussions, beginning with the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, on regional growth. This set the stage for a packed schedule of seminars and high-impact networking, where our commitment to building homes and transforming lives was at the forefront of every conversation.
A key moment was at The London Stand, where our Group Business Director, Paul Bridge, posed a crucial question to Tom Copley, Deputy GLA Mayor for Housing:
“How can the Caridon Group model help London Boroughs eliminate homelessness and reduce reliance on temporary accommodation?”
This dialogue is central to our mission. With a presence in all 32 London boroughs, we are committed to delivering thousands of new homes to support the most vulnerable in society. Our approach: revitalising communities by repurposing empty office buildings into sustainable, affordable housing, directly tackles the housing crisis with compassion and integrity.
Wrapping up a whirlwind week, our leaders reflected on the experience and the exciting opportunities ahead. Despite the weather, the event was a fantastic platform to reinforce our values of empowerment, sustainability, and inclusion. We extend a big thank you to everyone we met. We look forward to continuing these vital conversations back in London and turning them into tangible, positive outcomes for the communities we serve.
Together, we are building a legacy of compassion, sustainability, and social value for future generations.
