Making Imperial Apartments a Period Friendly Place

We’re proud to announce our new partnership with Period Friendly Places, joining their pilot scheme to tackle period poverty in our community. The first donation of period products has just arrived, and our residents have welcomed this generous support with open arms.
Period Friendly Places is a remarkable charity dedicated to making menstrual products accessible to everyone, fighting period poverty with dignity and compassion. Their mission is clear: to ensure no one is held back or stigmatised simply for having a period.
One in five people who menstruate will face period poverty in their lifetime, often alongside food or energy poverty. By joining Period Friendly Places, Imperial Apartments is helping to create a network of supportive, inclusive spaces where residents can access free products without questions or barriers.
We’re honoured to be part of this important initiative and to contribute to a growing community that values care and support. Huge thanks to Period Friendly Places for their generosity and dedication, and to our residents for embracing this positive step towards period dignity.
